It almost seems like a contradiction when I say that gameplay is the most important element of a game for me and then say that Metal Gear Solid is my favorite video game series, because it’s notorious for being plot-heavy and having hour-long cutscenes. But it’s actually not a contradiction at all, because to me the MGS series is a perfect example of how it’s possible to tell an interesting, fully-developed story without ignoring gameplay, which is something so many developers do now that “cinematic” is a big buzz word in the video game industry. Whenever a series manages to tell an effective story AND provide memorable, fun gameplay that’s a huge accomplishment to me, because the combination is ultimately the unique experience that only video games can achieve.

omg that MGS V trailer

The voice of Big Boss (MGSV) - Kiefer Sutherland
I’m okay with this change.
Big Boss needs a distinct voice, and Kiefer seems like the ideal actor to provide it.
Wait is Big Boss growing some type of horn on the right side of his face what the hell is that.??
