For anyone participating in the current Steam client beta, their steamui_english.txt file has been updated with some interesting new strings hinting at the possibility of Steam allowing users to borrow games from their friends.
Well this sounds rather interesting.
Terraria Steam Trade!
I have a gift copy of Terraria on Steam. Anyone want to trade? These are the games on my wishlist that are the same price.

- Dark Void
Here’s the enticing new trailer for the indie game Shelter.
As the mother of a litter of cubs you are forced out from familiar and safe surroundings to find new shelter in a beautiful, but dangerous world. The harsh reality of nature plays a pivotal role in the game whilst at the same time Shelter aims to pay a homage to the great outdoors and all its imposing beauty.
Looks fantastic! Up vote it on Steam Greenlight to help make it available on Steam.

Oh man FINALLY this is coming to Steam. <3 It looked so amazing when it came out about two years ago and I’ve been hoping for a PC release ever since. I am SO glad it finally happened.
Followers and people of tumblr, I might be acquiring a new computer soon. But it will have Windows 8. How is gaming on WIndows 8? Does Steam have any problems? And how do older PC games perform? Mainly last generation emulators. And Viva Pinata
because I want to play that game and it’s not on Steam why though? put it on Steam so I don’t have to own the disc I mean come on every game should be on Steam at this point unless you are EA and someHow believe people are going to use Origin to play most of their games.?

Digital versions of Bioshock and Bioshock 2 are on sale at Amazon for $7.49. Both codes activate on Steam!
Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City digital downloads $9.99! for PC, both games activate on Steam! This is a great deal! I highly recommend you play these games if you are a Batman fan…or a fan of awesome games.
VALVE YOU HAVE DONE IT AGAIN
YOU DON’T KNOW HOW LONG I’VE BEEN DREAMING OF THIS
I use my TV as a computer monitor, so this is…all…very…
I finished Lone Survivor. Highly recommend this game to people who are fans of Silent Hill and survival horror games. Solid game mechanics, tense atmosphere made even more tense by the fantastic Akira Yamaoka inspired sound and music. The story is a bit lackluster leaving you to decide and draw your own conclusions on certain things, but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing and it suits this game well. I recommend mapping the buttons to a controller using Xpadder or any other mapping program, because the keyboard controls for this game are a bit unwieldy. That being said I really enjoyed all 4 and a half hours I spent playing this game. The game also has added replay value with side quests and multiple endings that change depending on how you payed the game. And it’s only $9.99 on Steam.
